On Thursday, September 30th, 2010 Susan sat in on a rehearsal session of Southern Minnesota's Red Lipstick band. Made up of eight members of very talented singers and musicians, Red Lipstick is a cover band founded by Debbie Ankeny (backup vocalist to Anne Murray), Patty Hague & Shelly Greimann.
Red Lipstick covers songs from artists like Sheryl Crow, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Pink Floyd, the Beatles to Alison Krause, Wynnona Judd, Johnny Cash, Tom Petty and many more.
When asked about the rehearsal session, Susan commented, "It was an absolute pleasure meeting the members of Red Lipstick, and be able to hear them sing and play music. They are a very talented group and I was delighted to play a few of my songs for them as well. It was a lot of great music and fun!"

Susan Kasey walks the red carpet at the 2009 Grammy Awards. When Susan was asked about her night at the Grammies she commented: "It was a night I will never forget. It was one of the most memorable evenings of my life. What a thrill and honor to be able to walk the Red Carpet along with the music industries biggest recording super stars. To have been given that opportunity is something I will always be very grateful for. It was a fantastic night, and one I hope to have the great fortune of repeating again!"
